Born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Arkansas at age of 6. Graduated from Garland County Community College (now ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Park College) with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1986. Obtained Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Arkansas Tech ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ in 2006 and Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ in 2010.
